Our team is intentionally small but dedicated. This intimate and client-focused approach allows us to work closely with clients, tradespeople, and one another—giving our designs the custom, hand-made feel we aspire to.
Full Service Design
Our signature service is full-service design for residential new construction or renovations as well as boutique commercial projects. Our focus is on the interiors as we work in tandem with architectural, building, and engineering teams. As a BCIN-certified firm, we can produce the drawings necessary for permitting and construction of smaller residential renovations.
Phase One
Our journey starts with an introductory call to ensure our services align with your project needs. From there, we move to an in-person visit where we take the time to understand your goals, take precise measurements, and explore design inspirations. This initial meeting is crucial, setting the stage for the entire project and informing the development of a tailored proposal.
Once the proposal is approved, we ask for your input through a series of questionnaires. These help us get a deeper understanding of your lifestyle and how you interact with your home. Your responses will inspire the creation of a personalized vision board, which will guide us as we develop design concepts tailored to you.
Phase Two
After crafting detailed floor plans, sketches, and initial selections of both hard and soft furnishings, we present these concepts to you for your feedback. This stage is highly interactive, often involving a collaborative exchange as we refine the design direction together. Once any revisions are completed and the concept design is approved, we move into the final design phase.
During this phase, all floor plans, elevations, and other design drawings are finalized, and we make the final selections for furnishings. To help you envision your new home, we provide 3-D renderings and tactile samples, allowing you to see and feel the design elements firsthand.
Phase Three
The next phase is project support. We make regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure our designs are executed as planned. We are always available to answer any questions from the builder or subcontractors—and trust us, there are usually plenty!
We also assist with creative solutions when challenges arise. Once everything is in place and final styling (if needed) is complete, we have the pleasure of welcoming you to experience your beautifully finished home. This is always a gratifying moment for everyone involved.
