Checkerboard Pattern & Why We Can't Get Enough

The checkerboard pattern - it's a yes for us! This trend has our hearts and we are here for bringing back the old-school-style of it in our projects. The possibilities are endless and there are ways to keep it feeling fresh and modern as well. There are so many different options of bringing this pattern into a space and there is no wrong place for it - or at least in our opinion. Zellige tiles are a favourite in the LVZ Design studio. We love the smaller rectangle tile to create this parquet checkerboard pattern. The natural texture of this handcrafted tile is timeless and can work in traditional or a modern spaces to give it a hit of character.
